Training Industry, a leading resource for corporate learning and development recently published how employment access can be more equitable with English language training. The article features Katie Brown, Ph.D., our founder and chief education officer, and highlights how meaningful career pathways and personalized instruction play a key role helping learners advance in their careers.

Immigrants, refugees, and speakers of other languages earn 25% to 40% less than workers with English skills, despite the fact that most held a high school diploma and 15% held a college degree. Knowing English boosts employment options, especially secure, well-paying employment. Unfortunately, only 4% of U.S. adults who need English skills have access to English language education.

We invite you to read the full article to see Katie’s insight into language training and goals. For further reading, view our ever-growing list of pathways.
