Certified Nursing Assistants (Advanced)

The advanced course is a companion course to the full ReadyCNA program, and is intended to offer intermediate ELLs the scaffolding, language support, and vocabulary reinforcement they will need to master the materials covered in a CNA certification course. Learners will gain an understanding of the following.

  • Patient laws

  • Preventing accidents and injuries

  • Recognize issues residents face

  • How to encourage exercise 

  • Emergency situations

  • Patients' mobility issues and care
