Join a cross-sector network of workforce leaders who are committed to building a future-ready workforce.

As employers grapple with staffing shortages and skills gaps, now is the time to invest in building a future-ready workforce that connects all workers with pathways to skills, quality jobs, and opportunity.

One in 10 working-age adults in the U.S. is an English learner. Yet the U.S. workforce system serves just 4% of these workers.

EnGen is committed to equipping this talent pool with career-aligned English skills. Yet we know that much more needs to be done to build a workforce ecosystem that truly champions these workers. There is a role for all of us – employers, adult educators, workforce administrators, government officials, and more – in shaping the work ahead.

The Powering Potential Network is a resource to all leaders who share our vision of building a future-ready workforce that fully includes adult English learners. Together we will build capacity in our field and mobilize talented, motivated leaders like you who can unlock opportunities for our workforce.

In Powering Potential Network you’ll find:

  • Thought Leadership: Join timely discussions on innovative ideas, emerging workforce trends, and fresh data that are shaping our field.

  • Professional Development: Hear from experts that offer promising practices and scalable success in workforce development and beyond.

  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded colleagues via attendee-led presentations and solutions-oriented dialogue.

Building Stronger Pipelines: Advancing IET and Apprenticeship Programs Through Language and Employer Partnerships

September 30 at 2 p.m. ET

In partnership with COABE:

As workforce needs shift and career pathways evolve, integrated education and training (IET) and apprenticeship models offer powerful tools for helping adult learners access high-demand jobs. But how do programs move from planning to full-scale implementation and ensure these pathways are equitable and accessible for English learners?

Whether you’re designing a new IET program or looking to take an existing model to the next level, this webinar will provide practical insights and replicable strategies for building programs that work for both learners and employers.
