This May, EnGen is proud to partner with the Welcoming Interactive to support communities across the Welcoming Network in advancing newcomers’ economic mobility and social inclusion.
We are excited to offer 25 scholarship licenses to Welcoming America members, providing local English learners with free access to EnGen’s transformative, workforce-aligned English learning platform.
Who Is EnGen?
EnGen is more than an English learning platform—it’s a comprehensive solution for workforce development. With a focus on real-world outcomes, EnGen supports English learners through:
On-demand digital learning tailored to workforce needs.
Enrollment support to guide learners every step of the way.

Scholarship Licenses: Opening Doors for English Language Learners
The scholarship program is designed to support newcomers in Welcoming Network communities who might not otherwise have access to EnGen. Here’s how it works:
What’s Offered: 25 scholarship licenses providing six months of unlimited access to EnGen's platform.
Eligibility: Applicants must reside in Welcoming America member communities and cannot be employed by or affiliated with a current EnGen partner.
Application & Selection: Scholarships will be awarded via lottery. Registration opens April 14 and closes June 6. Selected recipients will be notified by June 24.
What Applicants Receive:
Unlimited access to workforce-aligned English instruction.
Support from a multilingual coach to assist with onboarding, study skills, and goal setting.
Participation in live, online classes and workshops with other learners.
