Impact Methodology
Given that our clients represent a variety of sectors and often have different program goals, it is critical that we maintain sound frameworks for measuring and analyzing the collective efficacy and impact of our programs. In 2020, we made significant progress in strengthening our impact methodology. Our proprietary efficacy framework, developed by our Chief Education Officer, looks at Time-on-Task, Mastery of Language and Content, Stakeholder Feedback, and Evidence of Real-World Success. To understand the real-world successes of our learners, we conduct surveys with learners in every program and align our analysis with an industry-standard framework, the Impact Management Project’s Five Dimensions of Impact.
Within our surveys, learners are asked to assess whether they have achieved one of the primary real-world goals they set before the start of their program and whether Voxy EnGen helped in achieving their specified goals. We apply Nesta’s ‘Standards of Evidence’ to establish the confidence we can place in our contribution to these real-world successes.
We plan to improve our next impact report by collecting further detail on learners’ real-world goals attained and by comparing these against broader socio-economic trends collected through relevant publicly available records.
