EnGen's Suite of Basic Math Courses

EnGen’s suite of basic math courses introduces learners to Arithmetic; Fractions, Decimals, and ratios; Graphs and Data as well as Geometry and Measurement. Learners explore different strategies to solve real-world and mathematical problems involving all four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). They will learn about place value and perform operations for both multi-digit whole numbers and decimals, and also gain an understanding of variables and how to solve simple equations and inequalities.

By the end of these courses, learners will be able to:

  • Use the four operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

  • Read, write, compare and work with fractions

  • Understand place value and decimals.

  • Solve basic word problems

  • Draw and interpret different types of graphs
