Pharmacy Technician

In this course, learners will prepare for a career as a pharmacy technician. Learners will be introduced to job responsibilities, become familiar with various types of medications, and gain an understanding of the rules and laws of working in a pharmacy. By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

  • Understand key terminology and concepts central to becoming certified and working as a pharmacy technician

  • Learn about various types of medications, medication administration, and hazards and side effects associated with medications.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with pharmacy customers and patients.
